MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FORM
for the Year January 1, 2012 – December 31, 2012

Complete and mail to the address below.

Artists Equity is an association of professional artists. Membership may be designated either “Associate” or “Full”. The dues are the same for both categories, however Full membership requires screening and there is a $25 fee for this service. Every member regardless of category is eligible for all AE exhibition and program opportunities.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP:
Associate membership will be open to everyone who supplies a completed membership form and pays dues at the current membership rate. One may join as an Associate Member at any time of the year.

FULL MEMBERSHIP*
Full Membership will be granted to those who pay the current membership dues plus a screening fee of $25, and supply the following:

• a resume or curriculum vitae
• an artist’s statement
• a completed membership form
• and documentation of two of the four professional activities listed below

All materials must arrive in the same package.

Professional Activity List:

1. Are represented by a commercial gallery or professional art representative
2. Have had three or more sales of their original artwork
3. Have exhibited in three or more juried/curated (non-student) shows at a university or museum gallery, art center, artists co-op or commercial gallery
4. Have graduated from a professional art program

Additional Benefits for Full Membership:
Full members will be listed separately in the Membership list and on the AE web site. Full members may also request that AE link the organization web site to their own artwork Web site.

NEW Associate Member: $40 annual dues
RENEWAL Associate Member: $40 annual dues

New Full Member: $65 ($40 annual dues + $25 screening fee)
RENEWAL Full Member: $40 annual dues

Joint Members: $60 annual dues (Two members, same address. For new Full Joint Members add $50.)
Member over 65: $30 annual dues (65 and over. For new Full members over 65 add $25.)

(Please note: Dues do not include membership in National Artists Equity Association, with whom we are not longer affiliated). Lapsed memberships beyond 60 days will incur an administrative fee of $40.00 for reinstatement in addition to the membership dues.

All dues must be paid prior to the entry date to enter exhibits and to receive other benefits. Please Note dues do not include membership in National Artists Equity Association. Membership is not transferrable.
