MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION & RENEWAL FORM
for the Year January 1, 2018 – December 31, 2018

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORY DESCRIPTIONS:

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP:
Associate membership will be open to everyone who supplies a completed membership form and pays dues at the current membership rate. Eligible for all AE exhibition and program opportunities.

FULL MEMBERSHIP (Professional):
Eligible for all AE exhibition and program opportunities with the added benefit of a link to your fine art website for as long as you are a member in good standing.

Requirements for Full Membership: one-time screening fee of $25 and the following four items:

  1. Your resume or curriculum vitae
  2. Your artist’s statement
  3. A completed membership form
  4. Documentation of TWO of the four professional activities listed below:
    • Are represented by a commercial gallery or professional art representative
    • Have had three or more sales of their original artwork
    • Have exhibited in three or more juried/curated (non-student) shows at a university or museum gallery, art center, artists co-op or commercial gallery
    • Have graduated from a professional art program

    All materials must arrive in the same package and are kept on file by Artists Equity Association.

Important information regarding your membership with Artists Equity Association:
All dues must be paid prior to the entry date to enter exhibits and to receive other benefits.
Contributions or gifts to Philadelphia/Tri-State Artists Equity Association, Inc. are not tax deductible as charitable contributions. However, since Artists Equity is a 501 (c) (6) business association, they may be tax deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses.
Membership renewal is due by the 31st of December each year. If your membership lapses (postmarked after December 31st) you can renew, however you will incur an administrative fee of $40.00 for reinstatement in addition to the usual membership dues.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
– You may pay renewal dues and associate dues online at
www.artistsequity.org/renew.html however, this form must be sent to the mailing address above or emailed to gks0@lehigh.edu even if you use the PayPal option to renew your membership or join as an Associate.
To email, copy the form then paste into the body of your email. If the form is not received, your membership is not complete.
– New full members must mail their complete documentation, membership form, and check in the same package to the PO Box above.
